Solutions
AMS Client is used to categorize files and log them through barcode identification printing.
The file is placed in a free location and communicated to Adiuto via barcode reader of the room/cabinet/aisle/shelf and the status is managed to understand if it is in the archive or out on loan.
Consultation users immediately see the electronic records and can request the document through the Pick & Loan workflow.
If the requested document is already out on loan to someone, the system handles the request queue.
The archivist retrieves the file in the archive, and delivers it to the requestor, who must in turn return it within a defined time, marked by an alert.
The archivist is obliged to replace the folder in the same location from which it was taken.
There are also archives managed by external suppliers who are in charge of outsourcing part of the archives.
For some elements, more sought after, the electronic document that has been uploaded to system is also provided.
